Description
Myrrh is the aromatic resin of a number of small, thorny tree species of the genus Commiphora, which is an essential oil termed an oleoresin. Myrrh resin is a natural gum. It has been used throughout history as a perfume, incense and medicine. Myrrh can be burned using our charcoal tablets or you can use an electric incense warmer (coming soon) among other methods.
The aroma is somewhere in between sweet & exotic…it’s like the scent of timelessness, itself. A favorite resin of ancient cultures including Ancient Greeks, Romans, Hebrews, Persians and the list goes on. They used myrrh in several ways including blending it with frankincense (highly symbiotic), or on it’s own.
